Unknown problem

I had the virus burst on my computer. I deleted that program but when i restarted my computer i was missing explorer.exe and wininet.dll

I downloaded the wininet.dll file and explorer.exe seems to be working fine. Whenever i try to open My Computer or do a search, it just seems to reset explorer.exe

Hi v7i4 and welcome :whistling:

If you still require assistance can you please post a fresh hijackthis log.
Please create a folder on your desktop called Hijackthis or similar. Then move hijackthis.exe to that folder.
it creates backups if we fix anything with hijackthis; all best kept in its own folder.

Please also let me know what you have done since posting to try and rectify your problems.
