I want to connect to my friends ShoutCast server through ShoutCast Source but like when I click connect it keep saying Not Connected...

I have Verizon DSL with Westell 327w Modem & Router (2 in 1). I know how to get to my router cPanel but I don't know how to port forward it and make it work. Help

Hi. Have a look at this:http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Westell/Versalink327W/ShoutCast.htm It looks like very specific instructions for your router and shoutcast. Let us know if you have any questions :whistling:

Did the settings save properly? In other words, if you go back into your settings, is it still unblocked the way we want it? Do you have a software based firewall as well? What are you using to connect to ShoutCast? Windows Media Player, etc.?

I see. Are there any codecs required to make Shoutcast work properly? Other people can connect to the hosts service?
