The equipment was ruined because the package didn't open.

She took pictures (shot a picture) of her husband, developed it (Soak in water), and hung it up to dry.

I heard this one couple of years back, I think this one is a great one:

You are in a secure enclosed room, with four walls, no windows, no doors and a roof that is unremovable.
There is only a chair in the middle of the room, with a saw lying on the chair.
