Hello people, as of late my system seems to have slowed way down and certain programs I run are suddenly crashing and freezing.

Have ran adaware se and spyboy etc but seens to be clean, so not sure' what's happening. Also ran a rcent Antivirus scan and nothing was spotted? I'm sure something is affecting the comp in some way though as its performance is going downhill fast.


This is the latest HJT log, and I would appreciate it if anyone vould take a look and see if they can spot anything sinister lurking.

Crusty Old Bloke gave you good advice last time. I would perform his recommendations again.

I do see you have the Mcafee icon going, does that mean you have McAfee anti-virus also? You also have another antivirus. You only need one.

also, I see webshots launcher. I am not an expert on that program but I remember some time back that that may sometimes slow down a computer. Get rid of the programs you don't need and see if that helps. I don't see any malware.

Hi there, thanks for replying.

I only have one anti vir which is Solo, and McaFee is just the firewall.

Will follow crustie's advice again and see if that helps.
