Windows keep creating program error, HIjack This included

Hello,

Lately my windows keep creating a program is experiencing and error while the program can run perfectly in the background. Also in many times a screen saying windows has closed Dr Watson's Postmortem Debugger to prevent serious error, as well as Running RUN.dll as an app error keep displaying. There was also several times where CLI.exe was causing the error.

I tried scanning my pc with AD Aware, Spybot, Xoft-SPy,Kaspersky, AVG and Reg Cure and it still does not solve the problem

Run a new HijackThis scan and put a checkmark before the following items:

O2 - BHO: Google Toolbar Helper - {AA58ED58-01DD-4d91-8333-CF10577473F7} - c:\program files\google\googletoolbar2.dll
O3 - Toolbar: &Google - {2318C2B1-4965-11d4-9B18-009027A5CD4F} - c:\program files\google\googletoolbar2.dll

Click the Fix checked button after checking you have all of and only those.

Then reboot. The above will disable your Google Toolbar. If you want to keep on using that, please download and install the latest version.

Hello,

I did a fix checked for all those but when i rerun a scan after fix checked and after reboot, I cant seem to get rid of

O23 - Service: rpcapd - Unknown owner - (no file)

Is this normal or do I need to do something to remove it?

Click Start > Run type services.msc > OK
In the list of services find:
rpcapd
Rightclick that line and choose Properties.
On the General tab Stop and set the service to disabled.
In HijackThis click Config > Misc Tools > Delete an NT service
In the dialog box paste: rpcapd

Reboot and post a new HijackThis log when you are done.

Sorry about this, but I cant seem to find rpcapd in services.msc . The closest I found to rpcapd is Remote Procedure Call (RPC) and Remote Procedure Call (RPC) Locator.

Are these the ones you mean?

Nope. Those are real Windows services.

Maybe it's not listed because of the (file missing)
Try to delete the entry with HijackThis.
So just this part:

In HijackThis click Config > Misc Tools > Delete an NT service
In the dialog box paste: rpcapd

Hello,

I tried deleting it but I am getting a "The service rpcapd is enabled and/or running. Disable this using HijackThis itself (from the scan result) or from service.msc windows.

I rechecked every entry in services.msc, but am still unable to find this rpcapd.

To list all services, click Start Run > cmd > OK
This will open a command prompt
In the prompt type:
sc query state= all
> ENTER

Copy the reults into your next post.
