When I try to copy files from my desktop to the memorycards ( one 1Gb SD card and one 256Mb CFII card ) it takes ages.
I know ActiveSync tries to convert everything, but when I tell it explicitly not to it still takes 3 hours to copy a movie ( approx. 400 Mb ).
Another problem I encounter is the "Not enough disk space" message. Both the disk the file came from, my C: drive ( in case the unwanted conversion happens on my system disk ) and the destination-card have plenty of space to hold at least 2*400 Mb.
At the moment I use a multicardreader/writer to move files to my cards. It's a hundredfold faster. ( even pulling it over via BlueTooth beats ActiveSync )

Did any of you encounter the same problems? Is there a solution?

Oh, for completeness. My PDA is an Asus MyPal A730.
