Hi I have a dell dimension 4600 and when i turn it on it says the following




Dell Dimension 4600 series
Bios version A06
www.dell.com

Sata primary drive 0 not found
Sata secondary drive 0 not found
Primary drive 1 not found
secondary drive 1 not found

Type the password and
-----press enter to enable password
-----press ctrl-enter to disable password security


Please can someone help me i am gettin so frustrated what can i do does anyone have any ideas? I would greatly appreciate it thank you

you SATA Drives are your hard drives. Make sure they are connected and makes sure your cd drives are connected. And the password thing is you must of set a password to enter to boot..you usually set the password in the bios.

I never set up a password is there a reset password. I havent even had the computer that long and i dont even know how to set that up to have created one. Is there anything else you can reconmend thanks for your advice so far.
