Hi i recently took apart my computer because i bought new parts well turns out the power supply i had don't work with the new motherboard i bought so i had to reinstall all my old parts everything works fine but the power switch to turn the computer on and off isn't working. I know it's some wiring i forgot to hook up so i was wondering what's the wire i need to reconnect and where do i put it below is my computer specs. Can someone please tell me step by step what i need to reconnect. Thanks for any help

It's usually marked on the cable itself on the little black bit.

As to where it goes, in 99.9% of boards all the front panel connectors are lumped together in one big block so it's just a case of follow one of the other leads, find the two pins in the block without anything on it and plug it in there. This is 99.9% of boards, because there's always an exception to the rule. Check your motherboard manual.

Thanks for the info but i was hoping someone would post step by step on what to do i looked at the manual and i can't figure it out. thanks for any help
