HI my log is as follows if you need any additional information just ask and i will provide it, thanks kathy
I ran hijackthis as my pc is being really slow and i have had some dodgy emails i have clicked links and later found out they have been bad also my pc comes up with the error message when i have just booted my pc and go to open up explorer it comes up with the error send box.

Sometimes when i am looking on the interent it pauses then freezes when i go to close the screen it comes up with the end program. Also when i start my pc up and i am using xp the screen where the blue dots go from left to right under windows when it loads the blue dots go pass 12-13 times. I do use AVG it finds no viruses and ad-ware finds only a couple of trace 3.
Thanks for taking the time to view this.

Hey greyeyes

Firewall:

Please download one of these free firewalls, either ZoneAlarm or OutPost

We can definitely help you, but first you need to help us. The first step in this process is to apply Service Pack 1a for Windows XP. Without this update, you're wide open to re-infection, and we're both just wasting our time. DO NOT UPGRADE TO SP2 AT THIS TIME
  • Click HERE for the update.
  • Apply the update.
  • REBOOT YOUR SYSTEM
  • Post a fresh Hijack This log

Hey greyeyes

Unfortunately I cannot help you until you get Service Pack 1. Please let me know when you have a legitimate copy of Windows and I will be glad to continue helping you.

Good Luck!
