I am attempting a PC rebuild and have installed an Intel D945PVS Mobo.

Here are the issues:
The PC recognizes the Drives and HDD (I see them in the Mobo setup) but will not boot from either
There is an error message saying it could not load Bios since there are no hard drives attached.

Can you help?

I have formatted the new SATA drive in another computer and also tried a boot with an IDE HD that has windows XP already installed neither works.

It goes right to the setup screen. I have also tried a jumper reset numerous times, boot disks for the 3.5 and CD and still the system won't read. It knows the devices are there....it just woun't read from them.

I had a intel D101G MB that was doing the same. I needed to load the drivers from the MB utilities CD before it would install windows on the IDE drive.
