After re-installing Windows XP due to numerous BSD crashes I am unable to get a fire- wire connected “20 GB LaCie external pocket drive” to be recognised in “My Computer”.
It is recognised on the “safely remove hardware” icon but on opening “Computer Management” it is shown as – Disk 0 / 18.62 GB Unallocated. Disc 1 being the C hard drive.
How do I get it allocated a drive letter ?
Prior to the re-installing it worked perfectly as “G Drive – mass storage”
All help gratefully received with thanks
