In case your dad uses outlook express also
Just set yourself up as another account on his outlook(new idenity)
then you can have a look at both homes. If you get an email you want at your mums then just before you leave your dads forward it on to yourself & pick it up at home.
If you need help to set this up let me know.
Cheers

If you set it to leave a copy on the server you can download as often as you need to

I could not find the option in outlook express to leave a copy on the server I know you can with Microsoft outlook.
Just rember to delete files off the server or it will become full

Ok then we need to set you up as a new identity.
1) At your mums place start outlook express
2) Go to Tools>Accounts. This should show you a dialouge box
internet accounts.
under the tab mail you could have either 1 account or a list.
3) find the one that has (default). highlight this and click properities.
4)Under the general tab take down the details that have been filled in
5)Click on servers tab
6)Take down the details listed here POP3, STMP, account name, Password - hope someone knows it
7) Click cancel then close- Just incase you changed something by mistake.
Next is to setup a new user on your dad's computer.
you can do this 2 ways either add a new account to your dads
or create a new identity

I suggest we set you up as a new Identity.
on your dads computer with the stuff you hav written down
1)Start outlook express
2) go file > identities > Add new identity and folow the wizard
add in the details you have taken from the other computer > easy to work out what goes where. If you get stuck let me know.

Yes but once you view a message it will be on that computer if you want it on the other computer just before you shut down you email it to yourself. and pick it up again when you log back on.
Did you find the info? If no one knows the password (most people forget) let me Know.
- NEVER give a password to anyone

UPDATE
You don't have to email to yourself. I just found the setting we need
(to slack to look properly before)
When you set up the new identity at the part of setting up the
pop3 etc before exiting go to the advanced tab and down the bottom
tick leave a copy on server. Best if you also click delete after so many days other wise your server inbox will just get filled up and not work.
Cheers
