my new pc came with windows xp and i want to install xp pro, can some one help me on this i never done it.

Insert the CD while on an administrator account and follow the instructions, if you want me to guide you than please tell me, its a very simple process though.

ok, assuming its an upgrade and that you have autorun enabled here are the instructions.
*edit* if you can then disconnect from the internet and disable your antivirus software just to obtain better results and better security*edit*

1.-first insert your cd to your cd drive if an install window appears then go to step 3 if not go to step 2
2.-if no window appears got to My PC then your cd drive letter then run setup.exe
3.-select your install option (upgrde or clean install) then accept the EULA, the setup process will begin and will ask you for your product key, enter it and wait for the setup to complete.
4.-Select your settings from the window that pops up after reboot.
5.-Activate windows via internet or phone
6.-Your done
