Here is my situation. I live with my parents and they have DSL server now. My dad caught the trojan on his computer sometime last weekend and I want to know if it can spread to my computer when it is run on the same server. I have come home from college and hooked my computer up and now I am getting funny messages on my screen talking about spyware has been detected on my computer. It really isn't a popup half the time, because it finds a way to be included in my already open internet homepage and browserpages. Then it just goes away. Last night my computer actually froze, I pressed CTRL+ALT+DEL and the task manager box wouldn't even come up. So I begin to shut down the comp, but don't hold the button long enough for it to completely shut down, and it proceeds to shut down on its own. Please help!!! I think I have the Trojan!!!

Just looks like spyware. <_< Please go offline, close all browsers and any open Windows, making sure that only HijackThis is open. Scan and when it finishes, put an X in the boxes, only next to these following items, then click fix checked.

Congratulations! Your system is CLEAN <_<

If everything seems to be working okay you can delete the Hijack This folder in a couple weeks.

How do you prevent spyware from being installed again? We strongly recommend installing SpywareBlaster (it's free for personal use).

Prevent the installation of ActiveX-based spyware, adware, browser hijackers, dialers, and other potentially unwanted pests.
Block spyware/tracking cookies in Internet Explorer and Mozilla/Firefox.
Restrict the actions of potentially dangerous sites in Internet Explorer.
Consumes no system resources.

Download, run, check for updates, download updates, select all, protect against checked. All done. Check for updates every couple of weeks. If you have any errors running the program like a missing file see the link at the bottom of the javacool page.
Link to SpywareBlaster: http://www.javacools...areblaster.html

It's also very important to keep your system up to date to avoid unnecessary security risks. Click Here to make sure that you have the latest patches for Windows.

Almost there :D, just a few junk files left to delete. Reboot in safe mode (by tapping F8 at startup and select safe mode from the menu). Be sure you're able to view hidden files and folders, and remove the following files:

C:\Program Files\Support.com\ <-- This Folder
C:\Program Files\hp center\ <-- This Folder
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\Update_OB\realsched.exe <-- This File

Next, please go offline, close all browsers and any open Windows, making sure that only HijackThis is open. Scan and when it finishes, put an X in the boxes, only next to these following items, then click fix checked.

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchURL,(Default) = http://keyword.netscape.com/keyword/%s
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [tgcmd] "C:\Program Files\Support.com\bin\tgcmd.exe" /server /nosystray
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [TkBellExe] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\Update_OB\realsched.exe" -osboot
O4 - Global Startup: hp center UI.lnk = C:\Program Files\hp center\137903\Shadow\ShadowBar.exe
O4 - Global Startup: hp center.lnk = C:\Program Files\hp center\137903\Program\BackWeb-137903.exe

Reboot your PC.

If you would please, rescan with HijackThis and post a fresh log. <_<

Nathan likes a cleaner log than I do :D (but your spyware was gone). <_<

The entries recommended by Nathan will improve your system's performance and aren't required or needed.
