Dell battery blinking yellow

I have a Dell Inspiron 5160. Two weeks ago the battery light started blinking yellow. It blinks when the system is running on A/C or battery. Last week I completely drained the battery and then recharged and it seemed to be ok. Last night the light started blinking yellow again and I can't stop it. The battery will charge to 100% and will last for about 2 1/2 hours before shutting off. Any ideas?
