Right after signing in windows live messenger ( Version 8.0 build 8.0.0812.00 ) I get like a 5 to 10 second lag in that application, where I can't do ANYTHING at all with it. Yet I can see the contact list etc, I just cant do anything, because it appears to be loading... And I daresay I think its those darn advertisements. Anybody else have this problem with windows live messenger?

Anyway to fix the problem?

Well I just formatted the computer, but the lag was happening before the format too.. Msn is just a sad piece of software nowadays.

I'd say that it's probably a compatibility issue... Maybe the script is just buggy too...

No doubt that they do. It very well could be the ads as well. Keep in mind that this is all still in the BETA process. I don't expect it to be near perfect. If its done this for a while though, I'm more tempted to say ads, or incompatibility, and not really server issues, etc.
