Hi, I have two normal IDE DVD writers, but recently, in device manager, they have been showing up as SCSI. Does anyone know why?

I don't think this is having any effect on performance, I just wondered what causes it.

I don't really know anything about SCSI either, what are its advantages?

Thanks
