My son has a Dell computer about 6 months old. It came loaded with Windows 2000 pro and Internet explorer 6.0.
We have a wireless network and all connections are great. But when the Explorer icon is clicked on it does not open. It does however open a window stating that there is an Internet Explorer error and warns that some information not saved may be lost and the computer must be restarted. Then gives the option to send the error to Microsoft.
The computer has been restarted several times with no success. I even burned the Explorer on to a disk from another computer and reinstalled it. The same error message appears.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Only 6 months old? -- let Dell sort it out. That's what warranties are for.

Dell states that the warranty is not valid. They have not been any help. I could still use some assistance if someone is willing to help me.
Thank you so much!
