cod 2 install freeze up

ok. im new at cod 2. when i go to install cod2 it freezes up when i switch disk one with disk two. can someone plz help me!

Hello i.lost.my.pants. and welcome to G2G!

It sounds like it could be the drive having problems reading the disk.

Have you tried using a different CD/DVD drive?
Have you tried changing the transfer mode on the CD/DVD drive to PIO only mode?
Are all unncessary background tasks closed?

According to some reports anti-virus software can interfere with the installation as can Zone Alarm and Windows Defender.
