Ok, so yesterday I spent most of the day running various cleaning programs and stuff to get rid of that Dr Watson problem, and now everything works fine, but when i try to sign in to anything (like email) that uses some kind of authorization i'm told that the connection was refused. i can get online, but not into stuff...

anyone have any insights? thanks

You may have to re-install the URLs into the security section of your browser's Internet Options. With Win XP, possibly into whatever options it uses in Norton or the firewall. These are https sites for logins and they may have been cleaned. Just a guess. I don't use XP so can't give you instructions right off the top of my head. May direct questions to jog my memory.
