im having a problem getting microsoft/windows to update.I 1st noticed this problem when I tried to upgrade my Internet Explorer to IE 7.And with the IE7 update it looked like everything was going to update fine & at the last step it said it couldnt finish updating & to go to my "TOOLS" menu & select "WINDOWS UPDATE".So I did all that & windows update stated the update was unsuccessful. & I cant figure out why.My laptops a XP by the way.

i have ccCleaner,Spy-bot,windows defender,ad-aware & AVG on my computer.Which of these do i need to disable or turn off?
