I want to be able to overclock my cpu and ram on my computer. When I go to the Bios menu I can't modify any of the properties for them. How do I get around this?

Not all BIOSes allow you to tweak the settings, Many of the proprietry brands, DEll for example, often have BIOSes that have no options to change settings.

If you were to give more information about your hardware we would be able to advise you better.

Dell BIOSes never have had any options to overclock anything.
They've done this on purpose to cut down on their support calls and Dell will argue that it would invalidate any warranty you may have.
