sickerthansick, you haven't followed the link that rushin1nd gave you to its conclusion because you will know that aften trying the various steps it suggest you download hjt and make a log,

it is a desktop hijacker probably smitfraud
http://siri.geekstog.../ScreenShot.php
but could be any one of these
http://www.geekstogo...rials-f121.html
have a look at each in turn if you don't see it there, and after the steps mentioned in rushin1nd's link, do the hjt log thingy plz

procedurs

Anyways... Yeah, this happened to me. The easiest way is just start the computer in safe mode and login admin. Modify a few rights, go back and if that doesn't work.. See what all is in your wallpaper folder. The one that is the Windows-Made directory. This is a guess. Also check your c:/windows folder... Click the icon with the little girl that looks like she is from the simpsons, maybe audit the program.

sickerthansick, good, you have got the idea, please let this thread close and restart another thread stating that you have done all the steps required before posting the hjt log in the
'malware removal hijackthis logs goes here' forum
http://www.geekstogo...o_Here-f37.html

go luck there then
