hi guys,

im very much a beginner to almost any kind of programming (i know a bit of basic html and thats about it!) and to be honest im not even sure what kind of programming language i need to learn and use to create the program that i need (which im hoping is going to be relatively simple to make).

basically i need to create a program which will output a text file which is formated in a specific way after a code has been inputted into it. if 50 codes are put in then 50 lines of this specifically formatted text will be placed into the text file as the output in the right order.

can anyone help point me in the right direction as to where i should go about starting my research for this project, unless of course you think that there already a program that can do this for me?

cheers,

jez

Are you interested in learning VBS?
If so, contact me.
I can use some fresh ideas for VBS scripts, because I already exhausted mine.
