First off, I don't have a windows XP CD as my computer is a Compaq preario; it came with a recovery partition on the HD, which I've copied onto discs to make system recovery CDs.
However, I did what you said and the System Checker just checked all my files, there were no prompts or anything that came up. :S
I rebooted my computer after the checker finished, however, ZoneAlarm still won't install! I've also noticed that whenever I try to run these setup files, namely spysweeper, AVA antispyware and ZoneAlarm, they just stay in the background hogging resources and when I go to shutdown my computer, it doesn't respond!
Also, I don't understand why its
these setup files in particular that won't run? I've installed a programme today (SoulSeek) and that went fine!
