Pls. Help. I am trying to work on a program from my job which requires macromedia shockwave. I downloaded shockwave and it installed successfully. But when I go back to the program it gives me the error message, "Shockwave must be installed before using this content. Please install the shockwave plugin and try again". Not sure how to fix this problem. Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!

what program is it? Is it looking for an older version perhaps?

yes. it is looking for shockwave version 8.5.1

you should probably uninstall the current shockwave you have installed before installing the older version.
