Hi, some of you guys may remember me like NickX we was trying to figure out my problem about my laptop...

Well okay I have removed my harddrive from my toshiba laptop and took it to a friends house to add windows 98 operating system and I brang it back to my house and put it back in and it says now.

Disk I/O Error. Replace disk and press any key.

I cannot figure out whats wrong it works fine in his laptop..

I configured the BIOS in every way possible but still can't figure it out?

an os is married to system, if you install it on one system, it will not work on another, you have to install it on your toshiba directly
