Hey, I am attempting to connect a hp 2200 printer to a network. When I connect it via USB, it recognizes it, and attempts to install it, then stops and says, you do not have sufficient network privileges to install this device, or something along those lines. Can anyone help me?

Are you logged into the computer on an account with administrative abilities (ie are you logged in as administrator)?

Can you install the printer so at least the computer the printer is connected to can use and access the printer?

What OS are you running?
