Hi my IE start up page has been hijacked by webtracer spyware. I have tried numerous spyware removers such as SubSubtract, XoftSpy, Spyware doctor, Ad-aware SE, easy cleaner, AVG anti virus etc. Please Help me!!!! I have run Hijackthis and below is my log. Please provide step by step instructions as I am a newbie!! Thanx in advance.

Update...I am now using mozilla firefox as a web browser instead of IE .....so as to hopefully prevent future spyware attacks..
however, I still have the bug on my computer

Thanks, here is my updated logfile...I havent fixed the hijack problem yet, but I am now using firefox so it isnt a big issue. However it'll be good if you can help me out and rid my computer of viruses...regards, simon.

We can definitely help you, but first you need to help us. The first step in this process is to apply Service Pack 1a for Windows XP. Without this update, you're wide open to re-infection, and we're both just wasting our time.
