Before I used an "old-fashioned" monitor and never had any problems !!!! So I don`t know if there is any connection.
But, to make a long story short, I was helped with the solution as shown in Post nr.9

It was the: Unrecoverable Error - message for DirectX, whilst playing COD2.
But the problem was resolved with the help of Post nr. 9 as I stated in my first message
