i'm not 100% clear on what you just said...BUT i'm going to assume that your sound card driver's didn't load
start > run, type
devmgmt.msc
<enter>
Or
Right click My Computer > Manage > Device Manager
Do you see any yellow ? or !

yes i see c_media in an yellow exclamaion bubble and my old system plays sound and im told to delete the old system but how o h yeah yello bubble

What is the model and manufacturer of your computer? We should be able to point you in the right direction, driver wise.

its a custom computer but its got difennt parts just tell me wat u would do

Download Everest from this link :

Run everest then click on the Report menu. Select Report Wizard, then select Hardware Related pages. Create the report as a TXT file (if this option is available). When its finished compiling, save the report & then attach it with your next post.:

then what what?....did you run the setup?...that will (should) install your sound card...at which point you'll have sound
