I've had this prob for a while now,but it's getting worse.

I use Thunderbird mail app and firefox, running XP Pro SP2 with ALL current updates installed.

Ever day i get 20-50 or more SPAM mails, but they are somehow harvesting details of sent or
recieved mails and including names that i recognise from my address book in their titles.

Recently i've also started having some saying "Delivery status notification [failure]"
in their title.

I'm assuming that something is using my mail account to send mails somehow,as there's a lot
of different one's saying this now.

How do i rid myself of this ?

I've scanned it both online and with several other anti malware/AV apps but nothing doing.

I realise i will probably need to run and post a hijackthis log,but i've never done that before.

So please if you can help me,just tell me what to do and i'll do it.
BTW it did this when i was using outlook express and IE too,so it's not firefox or thunderbird
that it started with.

Thanks guys[or girls]. :whistling:
