I've been having this problem for about a week now. Everytime I try to connect to AIM, it comes up with an error saying "Connection Lost. Check your internet connection." I had been able to connect to AIM just fine before this. My Windows Live Messenger still connects just fine, and all of my other programs that need internet connections have no problems. Just AIM. Other information that might be helpful: I am a student from the US studying abroad in England. AIM worked well for the best 2 and a half months or so, which is how long I've been over here. There is a proxy we have to go through to connect to AIM, and that's worked for me before. No one else has been having problems connecting on their own computers, so I have a feeling something has gone wrong with mine. I even tried downloading the UK version of AIM, just to see if maybe it would work, but it didn't. The only explanation I may have come up with is that when AIM stopped working was when I uninstalled a trial version of BitDefender Plus to install a registered copy of BitDefender Standard. Also there were some Microsoft updates that I installed that day, so that's the only thing out of the ordinary that has happened. Here is my HiJackThis log, hopefully it will help. Thanks for your time.
