I have just purchased a PC wireless card for my laptop. I have plugged it in and it works fine when the laptop is on mains power, but when I go to battery power I cannot get the card to work. The laptop is an Acer running Windows XP.

Any help would be gratefully received.

Sorry for any inconvienence.

I have solved the problem, it was that the changes to epower management only work for the battery if you are running off battery power.
