It might be a bug but as i've not actually played the game yet (it's on my list of games to play) I can only give you general advice.

Spellforce Gold comes with the first expansion pack only so you should use the full patch.

Try backing up your saves, uninstall the game, reinstall the game, patch and put the saves back.

Try contacting the support department to see if they can throw any light on the possible bug and patching problems.

The DirectX log will give them basic system specs, hardware driver information, version of Windows, computer name etc etc.

The msinfo log will give them more advanced system specs. Detailed hardware driver information, video codec information, audio codec information, drive letters assignments, details about your hard drives (it won't tell them what's on it), detailed system driver information, tasks running, running files, Windows services information, start menu information, startup program information etc etc. It basically just advanced system information and there doesn't seem to be any personal information taken.

Hi ZEUS_GB
Thanks for your quick reply so you think this is normal information and is safe to give them this and why do they need to know about hardware and stuff Thanks again

It's just normal software and hardware information, I assume it's their standard procedure to obtain these logs. It'll be safe.

I suppose the want the information so that they can check hardware or software issues before they start looking for bugs in the game.

Wait and see what they come up with.

The driver I asked you to install isn't the wrong driver it's just slightly older and more stable then the current 9x.xx series of drivers. Which in my opinion are just complete crap.

Both of those patches are for the Breath of Winter expansion pack which you don't have.

Try this one:
