I have run adAware and CWShredder and problem still there. When I try to update CWShredder I get runtime error of 5 and message about CWS.Smartsearch.2.

Machine is XP with slow responce and search200 nav bar at bottom of top nav bar and sometimes a double row bar at the bottom of the browser.

I also receive many popups and new desktop icons for drugs and ringtones apear.

I dont see any signs of CWS in your log yet, but that may change after we get rid of the nasty LOP infection that I do see.

Please read this post completely, it may make it easier for you if you copy and paste this post to a new text document or print it for reference later.

Boot into Safe Mode:
Restart your computer and as soon as it starts booting up again continuously tap F8. A menu should come up where you will be given the option to enter Safe Mode.

Please delete these folders using Windows Explorer(if present):

C:\DOCUME~1\DENEEN~1\APPLIC~1\BALMFO~1
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\bolt book hope math

Folders and files with a tilde (~), means that there is a file/folder that starts with the six characters in front of the tilde, note that there may be spaces in the name. If there are more than one, please report them back and do not delete!

Optional way if you cannot find it via Windows Explorer.

Start | Run (type) cmd (click Ok)
(type) rd /s C:\DOCUME~1\DENEEN~1\APPLIC~1\BALMFO~1 (press Enter)
Then close the Command Prompt

While still in safe mode.

Please re-open HiJackThis and scan. Check the boxes next to all the entries listed below.

I followed the instructions. The file irggwhmn.exe was not in the system32 folder but I found the others and removed.

When I restarted I received an error message like when the browser crashes.

One more thing that I am not sure of. Do you know what seek mp3 is?

If you do not, please rescan with HiJackThis and check this entry.

Then close all other windows and click Fix Checked. Then reboot into safe mode and find and delete.

After that, reboot and post a fresh HijackThis log.

If you do know what seek mp3 is, then your log is clean and you are good to go!

• AdAware - Another very powerful tool which searches and kills nasties that infect your system. AdAware and Spybot Search & Destroy compliment each other very well.
  
• SpywareBlaster - Great prevention tool to keep nasties from installing on your system.
  
• SpywareGuard - Works as a Spyware "Shield" to protect your computer from getting malware in the first place.
  
• IE-SpyAd - puts over 5000 sites in your restricted zone so you'll be protected when you visit innocent-looking sites that aren't actually innocent at all.
  
• CleanUP! - Cleans temporary files from IE and Windows, empties the recycle bin and more. Great tool to help speed up your computer and knock out those nasties that like to reside in the temp folders.
  
• Windows Updates - It is very important to make sure that both Internet Explorer and Windows are kept current with the latest critical security patches from Microsoft. To do this just start Internet Explorer and select Tools > Windows Update, and follow the online instructions from there.
  
• Google Toolbar - Free google toolbar that allows you to use the powerful Google search engine from the bar, but also blocks pop up windows.
  
• Trillian or Miranda-IM - These are Malware free Instant Messenger programs which allow you to connect to multiple IM services in one program! (AOL, Yahoo, ICQ, IRC, MSN)
