My computer has

1 3.5 drive
2 hard drives
2 DVD burners
2 other hard drives set up in a RAID (0) configuration.

I had to reinstall windows XP Pro, following the reinstall the only drives shown in in windows explorer are the A, C, 1 CD- ROM DVD as D and a virtural CD-ROM DVD as Z.

Under Admin tools/Computer Management/Storage/Disk Management I show

Disk 0 C Drive Healthy (System)
Disk 1 Healthy (Active)
Disk 2 Healthy (Active) This is the Raid
CD-ROM 0 D Drive
CD-ROM 1 Z Drive This is the virtual drive.

The computer knows the other drives are there but will not allow me to access them. Prior the the reinstall of XP everything worked as advertised. I have seen this before but do not recall how to correct the problem.

See attached document for additional information.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks

PT

No that option is not available except on the C, CD-ROM and the Virtual CD-ROM. I had someone tell me that a part of the problem is that I have EIDE and SATA drives mixed on the system. I have not heard this before do you know anything of that?

Thanks

PT
