My computer seems to work fine, but I have a question.

When I boot my computer, everything seems to load correctly and then it makes a sound - which I describe as a "Boing" - twice.

Is there something that describes what these sounds are, whether there are different ones and what they mean?

um...is the "boing boing" before or after you get into windows?

if it's after you get into windows
click on start > settings > control panel > sounds and audio devices
click on the sounds tab
at the bottom you'll see a list of events with sounds...you can click the event...and then the little play button (triangle pointing right) to hear the sound...once you find the "boing boing" you can see what event that is assigned to

Thanks.

Says it is Windows default.

From which, I assume, it is nothing to worry about.

But I would still like more information as to what that means.

Again, thanks.
