I have a few programs that have I cannot uninstall the usual way - for example "Far Cry" isn't written in the "add/remove" at all and when i run uninstall at the autorun nothing happens - setup exits and dissapears. This isn't the only program. another error i got was when uninstalling Oblivion the error read ">setupDLL\setupDLL.cpp (390) PAPP:Oblivion PVENDOR Bethesda Softworks (http...) PGUID:35CB6715-FKGJ... $11.0.0.28844 @windows XP Service Pack 2 (2600) BT_OTHER 0.0" when i press ok on this error a new one appears "Please do the following: -close any programs -empty your temporary folder - check your internet connection (internet-based setups) then try to run the setup again error code:-5001" and no matter what i do nothing helps. I would like to know if there is a list on the net of ways for removing programs manually - like deleting everything that has to do with them and removing entries from registry etc. maybe a website with a list of programs and how to remove each...

remember we are working blind so bare with us
to help others reply to your question
if you haven't mentioned it yet:
- what model of computer
- what os, XPpro or home
- how old is it

to topic then
- have you tried removing a the program while in safemode
- a malicious porgram like malware can be removed by posting in security heve

Try using <Your Uninstaller 2006> to uninstall programs that others cannot remove. It worked for me.
