I started to close the lid it started to squeal very loudly. I had to unplug it for it to stop. Now when I start it it squeals for a second, but when I turn it off I have to unplug it to make it stop.
if there is any way to test or repair without a new keyboard.

Found the problem to be my harddrive in the docking station. It crashed, I removed it and the squealing stopped.
