I started to close the lid it started to squeal very loudly. I had to unplug it for it to stop. Now when I start it it squeals for a second, but when I turn it off I have to unplug it to make it stop.
if there is any way to test or repair without a new keyboard.
Thanks in advance...ed

Found the problem to be my harddrive in the docking station. It crashed, I removed it and the squealing stopped.

I'm glad you love this post. Perhaps maybe you will "yield" your replies in the future and think how it's going to feel if (when) this happens to you. Sleep well
