Yes I have a mirror image file, of a operating system, called solaris 10, that was constructed of zipped files, do I just burn this to a dvd, and it will install like a normal os.

Pardon me if i seem out of place here. Why would you bother with Solaris 10 unless you are running a large network or just want something to play with. I can think of easier OS's to play with like Ubuntu, Kubuntu( Ubuntu with a KDE interface), or even FreeBDS, than Solaris. But, yes you should be able to burn a iso image to cd's or a dvd so you can install it on a computer.
