hey i have a question... does anyone know how to umm i saw on someone's laptop where they had like a menu thing across their desktop with controls... controls such as play, stop, pause, ff, rw, volume up and down, stuff like that.

Does anyone know where i can get something like that. I think its an application of some sort and it would look good and benefit me soo much with my laptop. I am using firefox 2.0 with the noia theme

I use Statbar, personally. It only provides controls for Winamp, but it works well.

Any addons for firefox would only be available if you were running firefox, within that window, so I don't think a firefox plugin is exactly what you're looking for.

well i always run firefox and where do u think i can get something what im askin for other than stat bar

I believe the plugin I used in Firefox was called "FoxyTunes." However, that's just for control of the media player, not the full blown stat bar as mentioned above.
