Can't Cut and Paste anymore

Hi,

Starting yesterday, I can't use the cut, copy, or pate functions in any of my software, Word, web pages, etc. and I really depend on these like everyone else. I can copy or cut, but when I go to pste, nothing shows up or the paste button is "greyed out".

I haven't done anything out of the ordinary recently like adding software or hardware to my sytem. I am running Windows XP Professional and using Internet Explorer 6.

Please help!
