It seems that the Malware community have found their way through the popular "myspace" wave that's now ongoing. Over the weekend, while googling for code writing sites, my laptop got attacked by some of them. I've got a very good Symantic Anti-virus program which picked up some of it. I ran Adaware SE and CWShredder which found a few things too. Still, I am getting a redirect script occationally in the form of a popup window. My question is this:

If I use Windows XP's system restore at a point prior to the infection, will it rid me of this vermen?

Many thanks and appreciation for all at Geeks to Go who give their time to help.

Mike
