Hi hope someone can help,

I am Running windows Xp pro and have recently installed SP2.

Prior to install I could use my card reader built into my printer, my USB storage pens and transfer music onto my sons mp3 player.

Since installing SP2 none of these devices are working they do not appear in my computer, they used to put an ICON in my computer and open automatically but now they are detected, and the drivers load, then I get the message that they are ready for use but they do not open so I can use them, they appear in the device manager and troubleshooting them says they are working correctly , tried rolling back device criver but none installed and also loaded drivers from original cd's all with same result.

Hi , I have tried updating my drivers and the computer says that no better drivers are availble,

I then uninstalled all the usb devices and restarted my computer , all the devices were detected and their drivers installed automatically.

the usb modem still works and the printer will print ,

but the card reader on the printer still does not work , and my usb pen is detected but not usable as no ICON is generated.

whilst updating my drivers for the usb devices I noticed I have 2 usb root hubs ( shown in attachment ) and 2 usb open host controllers with vertually the same ID is this normal or is this part of the problem
