Error when I try to install WinPatrol

I downloaded WinPatrol today and when I tried to install it I got an Error. The error is 16 Bit Windows Subsystem. C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTEEXEC.NT. The System File is not suitiable for Running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application. What does that mean? Please Help

This problem seems to be a growing issue that I am seeing more and more.
