Im wondering is windows 98 compatible with Amd 4000+ processor, i just purchased the cpu and i really like win 98 and not sure if im gonna be able to use it. Just wanted to know before i waste time trying to install

The rest of the hardware wouldn't work on Win98 anyway, as there are no drivers for it. It's going to have to have XP running on it in order to have a pretty picture, and most new programs don't run anymore on 98.
