XP Setup cycles

How can I cancel XP repair set-up,because a warning box pops up says ...Isass.exe-(see earlier post-) stalls setup at 39 mins remaining.after a minute or so ,It then reboots and setup begins again and the box appears again.I cannot get safemode on bootup by pressing F8 or last good config with F8.Im stuck in no mans land with no way to get out.help!Please!
