I have a panasonic laptop that is suppose to be wireless. Do not know anything about cards, wireless, etc. It does not have a plug-in for hooking up to a landline phone. Is there another way to get internet on this than the wireless card? Is there a way I can hook up to a land line? Please help me out.
Thank you

Most laptops have a normal dial-up modem in them so you can use that. Wireless is for broadband enabled connections only with a wireless broadband router - you can't use wireless on dial-up. Its very easy to mistake the modem port for a network port as they're often close together. Check closely for signs of a phone off its hook.

It is model # CF-62. There is no phone outlet on the laptop to hook up to a landline. It has windows 98 and the keyboard raises for the CD, other words, the cd rom drive is under the keyboard. Kind of cool actually.
