Hi,

I'm the queen of free downloaded software, I have Zone Alarm, AVG, and Ad-aware. Now all I need is a pop-up blocker that is recommended. I could download a google tool bar with a pop-up blocker because I trust google, but is there any other good ones where I dont have to have the annoying tool bar aswell?

Thanks everyone! :help: :whistling:

Hi guys! thanks for the responses.

Sorry for my ignorance, but what is firefox? It sounds like an alternative to Internet Explorer sort of like an all-in one browser that also has a pop-up blocker. I'm learning all these things as I go along :help:

So what is Firefox, and what does it do?

Thanks :) :whistling:

FireFox is a better browser, open source. It's wonderful, fascinating, safer, need I go on?

And has some great extensions to use! I don't use anything else unless I need to preview a webpage using different browsers to make sure they render correctly.

FireFox is great. Far more secure than Internet Exploder.. :whistling:

I use FireFox all the time and don't forget to update your firefox as that will keep you more secure for web browsing.

I would also keep your Internet Explorer because you may run into a web site that can only be viewed with Internet Explorer 6 or better.
